1. What FindUs Keepers is

FindUs Keepers is an online marketplace that helps people in South Africa connect for domestic and home-care services. Employers can search for keepers, view profiles, post jobs, and purchase contact credits to reveal a keeper's phone number. Keepers can create profiles and be discovered by employers.

Important: FindUs Keepers is not an employer of keepers. We do not supervise work performed by keepers, and we are not a party to any agreement between users.

2. Who may use the Service

You may use the Service only if you:

• are at least 18 years old;
• can form a binding contract under applicable law;
• provide accurate registration information; and
• use the Service for lawful purposes.

The Service is designed for users in South Africa. If you access it from elsewhere, you are responsible for complying with local law.

3. Accounts and profiles

• Register in your own name and keep your login details secure.
• You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Keep your information accurate and up to date.
• Content you post must be truthful and must not infringe anyone else's rights.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms or is misleading, abusive, or illegal.

By posting content, you grant FindUs Keepers a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute it for operating and promoting the Service. You represent that you have the right to grant this licence.

4. Contact credits and payments

Employers may purchase contact credits to reveal a keeper's phone number. Each credit is used when you view a specific keeper's contact number, at the pricing shown at checkout.

• Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal.
• Prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise.
• We may correct billing errors even after payment has been received.
• Refunds: payments are generally non-refundable. If a revealed number is invalid or unreachable, contact us — we may restore a credit at our discretion.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or abusively;
• harass, threaten, or harm other users;
• post false or defamatory information;
• scrape or automate access without permission;
• bypass security or the contact-credit system;
• spam contacts obtained through the Service; or
• interfere with the proper operation of the Service.

We may suspend access, block IP addresses, or take other action to protect users and the Service.

6. Your safety and due diligence

Profiles and references are provided by users. FindUs Keepers does not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or conduct of any user. Employers are responsible for interviewing candidates and making hiring decisions. Keepers are responsible for evaluating employers and jobs.

Answer registration questions honestly. We may remove accounts based on false information. We do not replace background checks or reference checks you may wish to perform before hiring someone to work in your home.

7. Suspension and account deletion

Close your account from account settings on the website or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if your use poses a risk to other users.

After termination, we may retain certain information as described in our Privacy Policy. Content shared with other users may remain visible where removal is not reasonably practicable.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Third-party links and services

The Service may link to third-party sites or services (for example, payment checkout). We do not control them and are not responsible for their terms or policies. Use them at your own risk.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that any user is suitable, reliable, or qualified.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FindUs Keepers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service or interactions between users.

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) ZAR 500. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under South African law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify FindUs Keepers from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your breach of these Terms, or your interactions with other users.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You agree to the jurisdiction of the South African courts, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
